Why do people rob at xmas?

Seriously though, three buildings here were broken into, and when the thugs couldn't lift any more swag out, they smashed all the lcd screens. I heard from one of hillside's board members that his friend has an office there that wasn't robbed because get this... they had a lock on the door.

Interesting.

Then Darryl's work got robbed last night and all their mac's were taken, as well as their coffee maker. That is just low. After coming into work to find the place emptied of its valuable contents on a Friday morning close to xmas, you really need a coffee then, maybe more than on a Monday morning even. And all for naught.

Sicko's. Really.

Ok - so likely insurance will cover all this shit and everyone will get on with their day. Maybe even save money shopping for all this stuff again and then feeding the shopping monster enough to want to knit their friends scarves for the holiday season.

knitting is fun enough and all, its just takes a Loooooooong time, and then you forget who you were making it for in the first place and you give it Darryl again, so he now has like three of them.
